Hi,

I’m Heather.  For many years, I struggled with self-hatred and low self-esteem.  I didn’t feel beautiful, worthy or valued.  In fact, quite the opposite!  My weight yo-yo’d up and down over the years - but regardless of how thin or fat I was at any given time... one thing remained constant:  I did not love myself (or even like myself).  I did not believe that I was a precious, priceless being, created by God. All I saw was fatness and failure. 

In November 2007, I founded the Beautiful Life Project with a view to change my life and follow my dreams... but also to unite with other women who had been struggling with similar issues.  This website and my project is all about what I discovered and learned on my journey towards healing and living a beautiful life... but more importantly, it’s about connecting with, inspiring, involving and encouraging others as we walk this road together! 

I hope you’ll be encouraged and inspired by the stories you read here - and that you’ll realize and embrace your own beauty and uniqueness... learn to love yourself and live out your wildest dreams!
